SOUNDIMAGEPLUS: Now Sigma users can get hot & bothered !!

On a day full of (pleasant) surprises, Sigma, now part of the L Mount Alliance, had their little bit of wish fulfilment. A "Full-Frame" Foveon sensor camera with L Mount lenses. Now that could be something special, even though other sensors have caught up with the Foveon at low ISO's in terms of sharpness. The added sensor size, plus the addition of some Leica lenses, could produce something very special. Probably able to produce something around the 60-70MP mark.

One problem is of course what kind of batteries will it need to power a FF sensor? The Foveon sensor with it's three layers is VERY power hungry. Still should produce some spectacular images.

OK so that's one (or maybe two) Panasonic FFMC's and the Sigma. And some lenses. I guess I'll have to start saving up. Or get a new credit card!!
