After yesterdays good performance with the e-mount 30mm macro on the NEX-5n, I finally got round to giving the a-mount version I have a work out on the a77. Unfortunately I picked a very windy day and had a lot of failed shots. However when I got something that stayed still, it did a good job. It seems to hunt a little more at the macro level than the NEX version, and its certainly not made as well. However its a good performer and when I got the focus right, its very sharp.
Also turned in an excellent performance for non-macro shots. It is a very cheap lens, but thats just the build quality. Optically I like it very much.
