Above is a series of 4 panned shots taken with my Olympus E-M1X. No point to be made here, I just thought they worked well.
I thought I would test out the video capability of the Nikon D850. As expected it's OK, but with no real stabilisation options, hand holding is somewhat shaky. The above footage has been stabilised in iMovie and again is OK. However this is not a camera I would want to use for the very small amount of video I shoot.
As regular readers will know I'm very fond of Small Rig video cages. This is one for my Nikon D850. Even though I'm not planning to use this camera for video, I still like these cages for a better grip. For me it gives a good handling experience. They are not light but they work for me.
