Why m4/3 is my ideal 'pro' format - Part 3

Shot with a Panasonic Lumix G9 + Samyang 85mm f/1.4 lens (via a Viltrox EF>m4/3 0.71x speed booster which gives an approximate 35mm 'FF' equivalent of 120mm f/1)

One of the criticisms of m4/3 is that you can't create images with decent bokeh. Well the above image shows that you can. I have this Samyang 85mm f/1.4 lens, in a Nikon fit, so I put a Nikon to Canon EF adapter on it and fitted it via a Viltrox EF>m4/3 0.71x speed booster to my G9. Shutter speed was 1/4000th. sec. at what the camera thinks is f/1. As you can see this gives an almost 3D effect separating the gate from the farmhouse behind. There's a lot of BS written about 35mm / 'Full Frame' 'equivalence', but in the real world this doesn't really matter. I was able to achieve the effect I wanted with what I had. Now I don't do this often, as I usually want the most depth of field I can get, but for this image I decided to try something different.

Here's another couple of examples using the same camera / lens combination.
