A rather nice update from Leica. The Q2. 47MP, 4K video and a few other nice features. I loved the original Q, but with a fixed lens and a few small digital crops it wasn't very versatile. However with a lot more pixels this is now something that can offer telephoto options. I looked at some of the raw samples on the Dpreview website and discovered I could get 12MP files from quite large blowups. A lot more than than the newly introduced "75mm" crop. Since I do mostly shoot wide-angle images and particularly a 28mm view this isn't really an issue. I like the Q because it's relatively small and light, it creates no dust spots and there is no lens changing. It can be used simply and works either as a fully manual or fully automatic camera. You'll not be surprised to hear that I already have a pre order in and intend to sell a lot of gear and just buy and use it.
