Canon 5DS R Canon EF 28mm f/1.8
After yesterdays article I decided I would put together my thoughts on using the Canon 5DS R - my 50MP DSLR. Just off the top of my head I came up with these:-
- This is absolutely the most fuss-free camera I own
- It's efficient, fast, reliable and the result of years of perfecting the DSLR design
- It's lighter than you think
- It produces wonderfully detailed 50MP images
- I bought it second hand, in mint condition for a very reasonable price
- It has a huge collection of lenses that fit it
- It's simple to use with a well thought out menu system, that makes sense (Not always the case)
- It's the camera I fiddle least with (apart from my iPhone) I just set it to ISO 100 and P mode and away it goes
- AF is quick and reliable
- I've had it for a while now and there is not one single dust spot on the sensor
- The batteries last for several shoots
- With it's anti anti aliasing filter filter (sic) images are sharp with very high resolution
