IPad panoramas

Whatever you think about using devices like an iPad to shoot pictures with (and as you know I was 'skeptical' to say the least) there's no denying that both iPads and iPhones create amazing panoramas. These are very high resolution and the process involved in creating them is well thought out and almost 100% error free.

This is just so much easier than stitching images together and makes all other panorama creating features in other cameras look what they are, junk!

The other great thing with this of course is that I can create higher-res non-panoramic images as well, since I can stop at any point in the process. And since I can see the image emerging on the screen I can decide when I have what I want.

Another example of smartphone technology taking the difficulty out of image creation. It doesn't always yield great results, but when it does, as in this case it's an incredibly useful tool. And I have to say very addictive. In an afternoon using it I created around 50 of these!!
