Acceptability


Interesting to see how libraries react to certain kinds of material. One library took some images of these burlesque performance artists above, which are pretty raunchy (this is one of the milder ones!) but refused the one of the two obese people below. Another library did the complete reverse. Both on the grounds of 'appropriateness.'  

Interesting what different picture libraries regard as acceptable and not acceptable. So sex or self-induced body trauma with all the implications of health issues and consuming under pressure health resources. In a PC world it's strange what's 'correct' and what isn't.
