Fuji X100s + WCL-X100 Wide-angle adapter down the garden centre

It was nice to get out with my new Fuji X100s + WCL-X100 Wide-angle adapter, even though it was only a few shots down the local garden centre. The weather here has been a bit dim recently and generally wet so I was desperate for a bit of colour to photograph and do a bit of real world testing of the camera. I wasn't expecting any difference in IQ between this and my other Fuji's and that was indeed the case. I was however interested to see if the camera handled as well as thought it would. In the end I didn't have much of a chance to try it out as I decided to cut my losses and head back into the dry and warm.

Today is supposed to be better with some sun so I might get more of a chance to try it out. The EVF is not polarised sunglasses friendly (at least with the camera held vertically) so I'm going to have to find a way to deal with that. However the optical viewfinder pretty much covers the angle of view of the lens + adapter so I might just turn it off and look through the viewfinder with no display.

I'm keen to try it out since this is a seriously beautiful camera and I'm actually much more likely to use it with the adapter. My plan today is to take it out with my X-E2 + 60mm as I really liked the GX7 + 17mm and X-E2 + 60mm combination I tried a while ago. Hopefully the weather will improve today and I will report back tomorrow on how this went. Must say I'm really looking forward to an 'old-school' day.
