Soundimageplus lens of the year - The contenders. Software of the year.

Just to finish off this plethora of posts (gaggle? pride?) the contenders for the Soundimageplus lens of the year. (Not that I'm trying to drum up interest in this non-event or anything like that!!) Regular readers will have probably guessed the weathers rubbish today and I'm filling in time before watching Ireland get trounced by the All Blacks. (Not a great few weeks for UK sport, it has to be said, though Birmingham City did manage a plucky draw yesterday)

 Firstly I've come up with another award, for which there is only one contender, It's software of the year and you guessed it - it's (Drum roll) PHOTO NINJA. (Yeahhhh!) My congratulations to all involved in putting together this excellent package that finally unlocks the secrets of the Fuji X raw files and does a great job on every other cameras files as well. One for the independents here and long may they prosper.

 I've included four lenses here. In order of purchase they are:-

 Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS Zoom Lens 

Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Zoom Lens

Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital 17mm f/1.8 Lens

Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Zoom Lens

And here they are below in all their glory. Final decision day somewhere around the end of the year. Yes I know it's a while and you can hardly stand the excitement, but I haven't actually made up my mind yet. Well, I have and I haven't, if that makes sense. So before this descends into even more farce I'll leave you with the picture and pop off to watch the Rugby.  (Ireland are actually winning!!!!)
