Nikon 1 18.5mm f/1.8 prime lens


This is the small, relatively inexpensive, fast prime for the Nikon system.

This is what it came up with at the various apertures on my V1.




 



 All processed from raw, ACR in Photoshop CS6, ISO 100.

Now I don't see a lot to complain about there. In fact from f/1.8 to f/5.6, it looks good to me. f/8 to f/16 there is a distinct softening, but with this size sensor f/5.6 still gives a lot of depth of field.

Nice little lens.
