Bet you didn't know that Sony made a 12mm f/2.8 lens? Well its in two bits, the 16mm f/2.8 + the Sony VCL-ECU1 18mm E-Mount Wide Angle Conversion Lens.
It is actually very good indeed. No light loss, no loss of sharpness, it costs £90. It does in fact work just as well as a prime lens. A real surprise and a real bargain.
