Wonderful warm sunny day. I went to photograph Worcester, with particular attention to the new canalside development which has recently been completed.

I then walked alongside the River Severn to the Cathedral. City centres that are centred around rivers are always very attractive, and with its wide path alongside the water Worcester is particularly scenic.

I used my Olympus E-P3 plus 12mm f/2 and 45mm f/1.8 lenses. I was hoping I would come to some decision about what to do with my m4/3 gear in which I've got about £3000 invested but hardly use. However I'm no nearer deciding whether to keep it, sell it or expand it. I certainly enjoyed using the E-P3 and I got some good pictures.
When my choice was between a large heavy DSLR / lens combination or m4/3 there wasn't really any debate. But that situation has now changed with the arrival of the Sony NEX-5n and the A77. The NEX system is obviously pretty light and the a77 plus my two lens kit (30mm and 85mm) isn't heavy either. Both give great image quality plus more MP's plus less "troublesome" files.
However the pure pleasure I get from using the E-P3 is difficult to consider giving up. If only it didn't look so good!!
