Why all the fuss?


There's a lot of attention paid to the Fuji X10. Its very attractive, but the image quality is pretty typical of a micro sensor compact. Its also expensive for what it does. From what I've seen of the sample images, its not even close to the excellent X100.


As with the Nikon 1 series and the Pentax Q, I'm somewhat mystified as to their appeal. The quality of the images these cameras produce is the most important thing, and not how they look, isn't it? Or am I missing something?
