Nokia Lumia 1020 - Dynamic range - 'Zoom"

Just a couple of examples to show the improvement you can get in dynamic range by using the raw files rather than the OOC jpgs.


The Nokia also has a 'zoom' function. By dragging the screen the camera takes a picture at a 2.7X magnification. Pretty much cropping the image. This then produces a 5MP file. It doesn't offer anything better than just cropping the high-res image. It is however possible to use this shooting video, which is useful.
